Nostalgic Jonathan

DIGIMON! It seems that our most powerful nostalgic momory is about Digimon: A show where a bunch of kids stumble across a magical digital land, that is filled with digital monsters. (Thus the name digimon.)
I remember watching different versions of Digimon every morning before kindergarten and wishing that I had an awesome lil' monster to wreak havoc on the city and other non-awesome kids!

The first season of Digimon was epic: It had regular kids who travelled to digiworld from their summercamp and were destined to destroy the evil digimons Devimon (I also remember LadyDevimon), Etemon and Myotismon.
Myotismon and Ladydevimon.(Note that Myotismon looks like a tranny, but is still more of a vampire than Edward.)

This horny bastard is devimon.

Here we have a creepy Pinocchio-looking fucker, who creeped the shit out of me- Puppetmon.

The first season fucking rocked!

Let's move onto Season 2, shall we?!
Now the plot is similar to the 1st one: Bunch of kids are sucked into digiworld, get themselves digital companions and have to save Digiworld...BUT... the new enemy is a human... a genious kid, who wants to enslave ALL of the digimons and rule the digital world. After awesomeness and fighting the DigiDestined bunch of kids help to save the evil Emperors soul. It turns out the Emperor isn't so bad at all andhe joins the group. Peaches and gravy, right? WRONG! Malomyotismon (Yup, the faggy vampire from the original series.) breaks into the real world and tries to enslave everyone. And epicness happens!

Malomyotismon (Looks worse than the first one, right? Yeah... it's pretty bad)

The DigiDestined from the second series.(You may notice that two of them are characters from the first season. Fuck Yeah!)

In the end of the second season they showed the future lives of the characters: some of them got married, some started businesses, but they stayed with their digital companions.

Now onto My Personal FAVORITE of all time!
Digimon Tamers
Plot: In Digimon Tamers the first two seasons of Digimon series are television shows and the card game merchandise becomes the key of Digimon Battles. The plot revolves around three Tamers, Takato Matsuki, Rika Nonaka, and Henry Wong. Takato made his very own Digimon by sliding a mysterious blue card on his card reader which then became a D-Power and scanned the sketches of Guilmon. The three Tamers meet and awesomeness ensues. The digimon card game cards are used for different powerups and digivolutions. Unlike most Digimon series where the tone is set mostly in a way to appeal to young children, Tamers took a darker tone in nature, which is the reason why I like it so much.

                                                                        Cast

                                                  Look at this PURE EPICNESS!

It's dark, powerful and is the reason why I started making my own digimons... I occasionally still do.
Now you should check these out:
(I know the English one kept the original digimon intro song, but this is what I had and it is epic.)

Now this is just a mindblowing video! I FUCKING LOVE THIS!

Now one more...stay with me.
Digimon Frontier
Plot: In this series the main characters receive a cellphone message that tells them to board a subway train, which takes them to the Digiworld. The difference in this series is that the kids can use their D-Tectors (Digivices in this series.) to turn into The Legendary Warriors through the power of Spiritual Digivolution.(Fuckin awesome, huh?!) They fight evil digimons, who are trying to absorb the data of the Digiworld to free the original ruler of Digiworld Lucemon.

                                                                     Cast:

                                               Digimon forms!

INTRO (You can clearly see that Frontier was a more light and childish take than Tamers:

Btw These are all the digivices (every kid had a different-coloured one):
Season 1
(Small squery thingies)

Season 2
(Eggshaped walkie-talkies)

Digimon Tamers

(Strange T-ish things that you could slide cards through.)

                           Digimon Frontier
   (Bitchin' phone-shaped blocks.)

Overall rating: DIGIMON FUCKIN' ROCKS! And don't you fuckin' forget it.

I wrote "digimon" a total of 24 times.(Counting this one) Not bad.
