Lupercalia, The Masquerade, Bloodlines and Jeanette

Don't you just hate Valentine's Day? History lesson!!!: Valentine's Day (originally St. Valentine's Day) was created to praise St. Valentinus, who, according to the legend, secretly wed couples and finally died for what he believed. It started in eighteenth-century England 14th of February... Well ain't that a nice piece of bullshit.
Let's travel back in time now, to ancient Rome - A time when men fought with swords, shields, spears, clubs, rocks and their bare hands! 13th to 15th of February was the "Lupercalia" or "The Wolf Festival" - The celebration of the mother-wolf, who raised Romulus and Remus, the celebration of Spring. Lupercalia started with the sacrifice of two goats and a dog followed by a huge party with people in goatskins.

It is said that the Christians created Valentine's Day to make Lupercalia disappear and obviously they succeeded, but I think we all know which one was more awesome... despite the gory details.
I think Valentine's Day is a soggy and outdated holiday for dim-witted couples - It needs to change.
Now I know about the Forever Alone Day, but for people like me Forever Alone Day is every day.
I propose a new holiday celebrating an eternal part of rock history and future -
Bring forth The VanHalentine's Day! VanHalentine's Day celebrations might include listening to Van Halen, wearing wolf skins and doing whatever the fuck you want.

A few days ago I found a horror rpg, that makes most of the crap in the shops today look like...well...crap.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines is a game, that gives you the chance to be a nocturnal creature craving for blood. The first awesome thing about this game is a questionnaire, that will determine your vampire-bloodline. Each bloodline is unique and bloodline has a clan:
  1. the Kingship Clan (Ventrue)
  2. the Clan of the Beast (Gangrel)
  3. the Moon Clan (Malkavian)
  4. the Clan of the Hidden (Nosferatu)
  5. the Wanderer Clan (Ravnos)
  6. the Clan of the Rose (Toreador)
  7. the Night Clan (Lasombra)
  8. the Clan of Shapers (Tzimisce)
  9. the Snake Clan (Followers of Set)
  10. the Clan of Death (Cappadocian)
  11. the Healer's Clan (Salubri)
  12. the Clan of the Hunt (Assamite
  13. the Learned Clan (Brujah)
  14. Clan of Usurpers (Tremere)
There also are assorted bloodlines as well as an extinct clan or two.
The rest of the awesomeness is a mix of memorable characters, references to movies and vampiric rave music. (Note that I usually hate that kind of music.)
Although there has been some really sickening alterations of occult, my faith in vampires, werewolves and ghosts has been restored with a simple glance at the past.

Jeanette- My favourite character due to her... complicated personality and outstanding breasts.
